Cameron Backman

Captain

Cameron is excited to be back for his seventh Pro League season! Before this, he attended Azusa Pacific University where he graduated with an Applied Exercise Science degree in 2018. During his time there, the APU tennis team qualified for nationals three times and finished #3 in the nation his senior year. Cameron now works as the Assistant Director of Racquets of The Club at Mediterra. In the summers, Cameron is the Director of Tennis and Pickleball at Vineyard Haven Yacht Club on Martha's Vineyard.
 

Arnas was born and raised in Palanga, Lithuania. Started playing tennis at the age of 7. Attended Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, CT where he was named team MVP, captain and invited to participate in national high school tennis All-American tournament. Played division 1 tennis at Atlantic 10 conference at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA where he won Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar-Athlete award. Additionally, Arnas is an ITF player as well as Lithuanian and Tennis Europe Champion. As a coach, Arnas has worked with ACEing Autism foundation helping children with disabilities on a tennis court. Additionally, he has experience coaching adults and has served as a sparring partner for many tennis professional players. Arnas currently works as a tennis and pickleball pro at the Dunes country club in Naples, FL.

Ben has been a tennis/pickleball professional at Quail Creek Country Club for almost nine years. He was a three sport high school athlete in Neenah, Wisconsin and garnered two first team all-state selections for his tennis team that won three straight state championships. He is a University of Wisconsin-Madison graduate and 2018 USPTA clay court national doubles champion. He was lucky enough to win the 5.0 Naples City singles championship twice and has been a Naples Pro League captain many seasons.

Doug is a native of Naples, Florida and grew up as a competitive junior player in the area. He contributed and won 4 state championships at Barron Collier High School and was ranked as high as 13 in the state of Florida in his junior career. He attended Florida State University, where he was a hitting partner for the Men’s team. Doug is in his 4rd season as the Director of Tennis and Fitness at Vasari Country Club.

Originally from Fort Lauderdale, the DeBolt family relocated to the Fort Myers area in 1992. Shortly after, Elliot began playing tennis at the age of six and steadily climbed the Florida junior rankings. At Estero High School, he excelled as the #1 singles and doubles player throughout all four years of varsity, culminating in a trip to the state tournament in both events during his senior year. After high school, Elliot attended Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), where he studied Environmental Studies and discovered a passion for teaching tennis. In 2009, he earned his USPTA Elite Professional certification and has since built a successful career in coaching. He has held Head Professional positions at Estero Country Club, Treviso Bay, and The Players Club & Spa before stepping into his current role as Director of Sports at The Quarry in Naples. Elliot is passionate about training adult players for competitive success at all levels. Outside of work and the tennis court, he enjoys spending his free time on the water.

Jerome is a former top-ranked junior player from Ohio with an impressive track record. Among his notable achievements is a junior victory over future French Open champion Jim Courier, as well as winning the Ohio State doubles championship. He went on to excel at the collegiate level, earning All-MAC Conference honors three times while competing for the University of Toledo. Continuing his success beyond college, Jerome became a nationally ranked senior player and, in 2013, claimed the National Clay Court Doubles Championship in the 35-and-over division. His lifelong passion for the game is reflected in both his competitive accomplishments and his dedication to the sport.

Jerome Moenter

Matt Kuk is currently the head tennis professional at Quail Creek Country Club. He was an all-conference player for a top 25 nationally ranked tennis team at Salisbury University in Maryland. He was also an assistant coach for the women's tennis team at Ohio State University and the men's tennis team at FGCU.
